* Note: There may be times when we need to spend more than an hour on a day’s activity. Do not worry, just continue the activity on the next day and carry over the next day’s lesson plan to the following day. These lesson plans act as a guide and are not to be taken strictly according to their limitations of time. You may be flexible in organising your own timetable for your personal Islamic Homeschool. You are, afterall, the teacher and principal and parent all-in-one! Have fun while learning and interacting with your child, insha’Allah! Remember, this is just a guide. You may add on or skip any parts of these lessons. For each day, Victorian Muslimah recommends that you listen to your child read a page from one of the books in the IQRA’ series. Try not to move on to another page until your child can read that particular page smoothly. Be patient and ask your child to try his best. You may reward the child with stickers pasted in the IQRA’ book or a chart, each time he completes a page. For other activities, Victorian Muslimah encourages you to do your own research if you have time and use that to supplement what we have here. And if you have even more time, do share with Victorian Muslimah any interesting notes that you’ve gathered…She’d love to hear from you!
