Praise be to Allaah, we praise Him and seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allaah from the evil of our own selves and from our evil deeds.

Whomsoever Allaah guides cannot be misled, and whomsoever He leaves astray cannot be guided.

I bear witness that there is no god except Allaah alone, with no partner or associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam is His slave and Messenger.

Peace be upon everyone…

Victorian Muslimah is just another muslimah’s blog, so bear with us as we grow bit by bit… InshaAllah, as time goes by, we will get more and more informative and educational.

Thank you for supporting us at Victorian Muslimah (Australia). May Allah bless all of us & our families always with patience and ease in our pursuit of Jannah, Ameen…

May Allah forgive us for all our errors here and everywhere else. We aim to only please Allah. Whatever is good, surely it comes from Allah. Mistakes are inevitable for all human beings, therefore we apologise for any inaccuracies found in any of our projects.

Victorian Muslimah hopes to share good videos regarding education for children,  regarding Islam, videos on how to be better people and lead more meaningful lives, insha Allah (God-willing). Most, if not all of our Youtube videos will be English-subtitled, to especially assist those who are hearing-impaired, new students of English or new students of Islam.

Victorian Muslimah hopes to seek and spread knowledge regularly, insha Allah. We are not scholars nor experts, but just students, perhaps just like yourself. We believe that good information and knowledge learned should be shared among all. Our goal is to enter Paradise in the Hereafter, so let’s do as much as possible while we are still alive on this temporary world! Every bit of knowledge is accountable on the Day of Judgement!

The Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said, “Allah will make the path to the Garden easy for anyone who travels a path in search of knowledge.” [as narrated by Muslim]. We therefore hope to be among those on that path, God-willing! Furthermore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) urges us to spread knowledge, even if it is just a sentence.

Victorian Muslimah advocates peace and understanding among everyone through our projects and ideas. Islam is not just a religion; It is a way of life. “Misunderstanding arising from ignorance breeds fear, and fear remains the greatest enemy of peace.” (Lester B. Pearson)

Let’s dispel misunderstandings towards Islam by encouraging everyone to seek knowledge about Islam and see how it is truthfully a beautiful and peaceful way to live in this temporary world.

Do not stop from seeking knowledge wherever you are and whoever you are.

The Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said:

“Seeking of knowledge is obligatory upon every Muslim.”

    Salaam from Indonesia.

I’m tiya from Jakarta, i find this website is really useful and lots of knowledge i can gain from.
Hopefully even though i am far away, i still can be part of this community.
May submit a suggestion? How about there’s a recording for every lectures that are organized by VMA? So people ‘on beyond’ could be updated by the lecturs itself 🙂 for example, the lecture that was given by Brother Bilal.

Peace be upon everyone 🙂 i love you all in the cause of Allah

    • Wa’alaykumsalaam sister Tiya,

  4. Assalaamu alaykum

I’m wondering if you know of any homeschooling families in the South East area? We are new to the area and would love to meet up with other families who are home educating.

Salami alaikum I just want to know if you have full vision of quran translated in English.

    • Wa’alaykum salaam.
I am not sure what you mean exactly.
There are quite a number of reputable Quranic translations available in the book market and also online. Do you have any problems in getting access to them?
Also to note, the Quran is best read in Arabic and whichever translations in English do not do justice to the beautiful words recited in Quran. One has to study the tafseer of each Ayah carefully to really understand as much as one can regarding that Ayah. To read the translations in English which are usually lightly-written and summarised will not do enough to learn the Quran fully and comprehensively. One needs to learn from a Quranic scholar or even scholars to study the Quran more intensively and not just by reading the translations of the Quran by oneself.
Anyways, I hope that you get what I am trying to say here, Insha’Allah. If not, do let me know further how I may assist you further Insha’Allah. Jazakum Allah khayr.
